LATIN NAME: Tyto Alba
SHAPE: Dinner Plate, Serving, Some Accessories

NOTE: The Portmeirion Barn Owl was retired many years ago. As I understand it, the Owl represents bad luck in some South American countries and is the reason for its early retirement. You will find it with a green band only on Dinner plates and other items like canisters and some baking pieces.
