Portmeirion Vintage items, to us, are pieces craeted after 1960 when Susan Williams-Ellis and her husband bought Grays Pottery and started Portmeirion Potteries. However, we also include some Grays Pottery and Kirkham which is much older. To us, the modern era started in 1972 with Botanic Garden.
