A rare and sought after Portmeirion Birds Of Britain salad size plate for hanging on the wass featuring the Turtle Dove or Streptopelia Turtur bird. This bird is still in production on acorn band plates. The green band, as on this plate, was discontinued long ago. This wall plate is in minty condition!

As I understand it, Portmeirion produced a series of Bird Of Britain and Botanic Garden wall plates in the early 1980's for a short period of time and not many were made.
