A very nice unusual Botanic Garden soup tureen. One of the most magnificent pieces in the Botanic Garden range, it carries an older version of flowers and is not often seen with the Peony motif.

There is a different flower on each side of the tureen. One side features the Shrubby Peony or Paeonia Moutan, introduced to the BG collection in 1990. The other side carries a magnificent Passion Flower or Passiflora Caerulea, recently retired in 2003.

It shows no wear or signs of use and is in excellent condition. There are two little minor factory flaws on the unglazed bottom foot, on the inside edge, where it sits. So please be sure to click below and see the full description and more photos...
